The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction: Favorite 5 Moments

So if you’ve been missing the actual lads of One Direction and have been looking for alternative sources of 1D-themed entertainment, Mark Parsons has your solution. He has created an entire animated series of the beloved Adventurous Adventures of One Direction, but this time, they were Christmassy-themed! I’m sure you’ll remember the other two mini-episodes that he produced a few years back (ahhhh the carrot years)…..

I’ve gone and watched the entire 12-part series that aired during the during the month of December so that I could give you my top 5 favorite moments.

1. Liam’s attempt at .com puns

If you’ll cast your mind back to a few years ago when Liam’s new fav saying “it’s on like donkey kong” floated around the internet for a bit, Mark picked up the catchy saying in his series. This time, he was trying out a few new puns, seeing as it’s been his “thing” for a few years. Unfortunately, cartoon Louis wasn’t feeling it and hit Harry a few too many times….

2. Harry’s artistic interpretation of the unknown man

I have no idea why but the part when Harry thought that the unknown man had an actual question mark on his face had me dying laughing. He then wondered if that was the artist’s interpretation of the man was to paint a question mark on his face….Seems legit, cartoon Harry.

3. The Twitter birds

Mark is pretty clever with his fandom hints, from the evil fans in previous adventures to the Twitter birds the chirped follow constantly in the most recent one. It’s a good reminder as far as fangirl etiquette goes.

4. 1D’s inclusion of Zayn as a member

Loving that we get to see Zayn with the boys again…. even if it is just cartoon Zayn. Like Mark said “I still like Zayn, dang it!” I see you, Mark, I see you!

5. Louis’ sass throughout the entire series

When Harry dared to forget that very special day, no NOT Christmas, Louis full sass potential was unleashed. I very much enjoyed it, soz cartoon Harry. AS IF Christmas Eve is more important than the sass master’s birthday….!

And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed reliving the best bits with me. Now that it’s over, you should probably just go watch it again so here’s the link! Cheers!

I’ve been fangirling since the Jonas Brothers but One Direction are the ones that stuck. 1D is number one in my heart but Little Mix and Ariana are important too. I am the Lifestyles editor for my college’s newspaper and I’m in love with Communication. Trendom is where my passion and skills collide. I love all things girly, coffee, and I’m a closet bookworm.
