#SongFeels: Kampain by MicRighteous

Growing up in a world where I didn’t have a lot

I always had to work hard to get what I got

Mic, he understands

He gets what it’s like, working for the man

Working for yourself and your fam

When rap cultures all about whose gettin’ the most booty

Did you get a new role in that Hollywood movie?

He spits what’s real, what needs to be heard. We coexist in a world, that constantly turns

Revolves in a direction parallel to others, ignoring their struggles, never living together.

You fight to bring attention to that which matters but you can’t get attention unless you’re willing to flatter

The media, the cameras, the press and the crowds.

The truth it remains suppressed, untouched, under veils. Hiding the reality in case it derails

The image of peace, of ease it is

To achieve your dreams

So it seems it’s simple

If you try and just believe

Overpass the intensity of work it requires

The months and years waiting to inspire

The right person to notice and see

What you have to offer

In the mean time you work, you wait, and you wander

Your mind wanders while you wonder will you ever make it

Will you ever amount to more than living pay check to pay check?

25 and a whiskey fanatic. Sassy, rude, and grouchy because Harry Styles lives 5 minutes away and I’ve never seen him! I have an opinion on everything and not everyone agree’s, but I hope you find humor in my over the top obsession with music and the people who create it. LA is where it’s at, so if there is a show worth seeing, you can be sure to find me there!
