The Internet: Looking Good

We all know I advocate for looking your best, but that’s because I think we should all display outwardly how awesome we are on the inside. This weeks picks are all about the look!

Do you love the movie Grease? (If not, I’m sorry, we can’t be friends) I used to watch it on repeat when I was younger, changing my dress-up outfits for every scene, singing my little butt off along with Sandy and Danny. I’m SO excited that Grease: Live is coming to TV in January and this week it was announced that Carly Rae Jepson will be playing Frenchy! I really really really really really… ??? … like “Beauty School Dropout” and I hope you join me when I probably eventually live-tweet this event.

Speaking of candy colored hair (I’m a little bit obsessed)… this gorgeous photo series caught my eye. Titled “A Modern Hair Study” there are actually two parts that comprise a collection of photos of women taken from the back. It showcases different hairstyles, tattoos, skin tones, accessories… but none of their faces. It’s kind of interesting to wonder what they look like, who they might be, just based on their hair.

New to me this week is Batalash Beauty. Since I started creating makeup videos here, I figured it would be a good idea to see how other people do them (previously, I wasn’t huge into video? Whoops!). Samantha is funny and does a great job, both with her actual makeup and cutting together her videos. Here’s a pretty fall look to get you inspired!

To wrap it up, I’m going to send you back to our #WCW: Gwen Stefani post, because it’s her birthday! Gwen is so talented, so fierce, so beautiful AND she’s got a makeup line coming out with Urban Decay very soon – I can’t wait!

Have a beautiful weekend and take care of yourselves – you’ve got to feel good to look good!

Prone to distractions. I spend my time making playlists for every mood and researching new beauty/fashion trends, if I’m not too busy working. Usually found wearing blinged out headphones and bright lipstick, chair dancing and singing too loud. I take my LIAM with a side of Niall.
