So as we all know, it’s that time of the year where everyone is extra cheerful, and we get to hear Christmas songs for 25 days. Though, if you’re like me, you probably listen to one Christmas song once a month (aka “All I want for Christmas”). We know gift purchasing can be a little bit hectic, so here are some gift ideas for your best friend.
I know we all have a best friend who we love as much as our own family members. If you’re like me? You might be stuck on what to get your other half this holiday season. I gathered five ideas for gifts that I think might work as a gift for your bestie. The price for these gifts is $10-$100, and my list is in no specific order.
1. Picture Collage.
Cost: $15-$35 (Depends on the amount of pictures used and type of materials)
A picture collage of your memories with your best friend throughout the years is always a fun and meaningful gift to give. It’s not only very sentimental, but it’s also something that is easy and fun to make. If you purchase a poster board, you can cut it into a heart shape, or keep it in the size that you would like. You can always add a quote in the middle of the collage, or just surround it with pictures.
2. A Charlie Brown Christmas (Live Performance).
Cost: $15-$75 (Depending on the city)
“A Charlie Brown Christmas” has been a favorite across the world for many years. It’s one of those shows that leaves you with a smile on your face. Taking your best friend to this show would be a great way for you two to make new memories, and enjoy a night out in the theatre. The ticketmaster link will be posted right below this, so that you can check whether or not the show will be playing at a location near you.
3. 19 by Adele
With the hype of Adele’s amazing new album 25, I figured that we could take it back a couple years to Adele’s first album 19. This album is honestly such a great one, and it has an amazing amount of good songs. The songs range from sad to happiness, so it’ll be perfect for whatever mood your bestie might be feeling on any certain day. Not to mention Adele does have a song on this album titled “My Same” that was written for her best friend. So, that is always a plus.
4. “You’re My Person” coffee mug.
If you’re a Grey’s Anatomy fan, you will most definitely know where this quote comes from. If you don’t, that’s totally fine. But, the quote alone has a lot of meaning to it. If you’re like me, your best friend is the one person in your life who will always be there for you, and who will drop everything in a heartbeat for you. They know what mood you’re in, just by the tone of your voice alone. Your best friend is the one person who understands you better than you understand yourself. Which is why they are your person.
Link to the coffee mug can be found here.
You can also customize your own coffee mug or find something else in their shop that you might like.
5. “Open when” letters.
Cost: $5-$15 (Depending on how you decorate your envelopes and letters).
“Open When” letters is a gift that can make you very emotional or very happy when you write your letter for each envelope. You’re free to write as many letters as you like, but each envelope has to have a reason as to why you’re best friend decides to open it on that certain day. For example, one of your envelopes might say “open when you’re sad.” Which your best friend won’t open until she’s sad. Inside that envelope would be a letter that you wrote, hoping to bring a smile to their face. This gift is also very personal, and can be very fun to make.
Hopefully shopping this holiday season won’t drive you wild, and hopefully this gift guide will help when shopping for your best friend.
