Ariana Grande “Dangerous Woman” Review

I’m sure you’ve already heard, but Ariana Grande has a new single out and it is on fire. True to her recent hints about the upcoming album, Dangerous Woman, the song is sexy and bold with a more mature sound than her previous sugar-laced lyrics and dance-able sound. This song makes you want to drive around in a sports car, clad in a sultry outfit, starring in your own female-focused spy movie. The overall sound is different for Grande, but still manages to stay well within her realm. She has also decided to remove ‘Focus’ from her third album, which drops May 20th, marking an intentional musical turning point for the singer. “Dangerous Woman” debuted at number 1 in 30 countries around the world.

Grande recently performed and hosted Saturday Night Live, where she debuted ‘Dangerous Woman’ live for the first time and sang another brand new song off of her album, “Be Alright.” If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that 2016 is Ariana’s year.

I’ve been fangirling since the Jonas Brothers but One Direction are the ones that stuck. 1D is number one in my heart but Little Mix and Ariana are important too. I am the Lifestyles editor for my college’s newspaper and I’m in love with Communication. Trendom is where my passion and skills collide. I love all things girly, coffee, and I’m a closet bookworm.
